La Grange April Flyin.... - 0.0 hrs

Saturday was the monthly BBQ fly in at La Grange airport. Jim was nice to invite me along for a motivation flight. We launched for La Grange around 10:30. We arrived around 40 minutes later and a good thing we got their early as they had a great turnout and almost all of the parking spaces were taken.

We walked around and saw the usual suspects, Marshall, Gary and Jim from Dry Creek and others. We walked around and checked out the planes and I snapped some pics. Then we launched for Giddings to get some cheap fuel. About 10 minutes and we were there fueling up. Talked to Parker one of the owners of Ravin Aircraft. They sell a very nice composite experimenta that looks like a Piper retractable gear. Then it was off t Brenham for desert.

Another quick flight and we were in getting the usual choclate malt. Then it was time to head back to Hooks. Overall a great way to spend a Saturday. Great weather for flying. A place to go and an awesome plane to do it in. Jim's plane flys very straight and true. Definately RV Grin time for sure.
