Parts Fabrication - Seats..... - 5.5 hrs

Continued on with the other seat. Still no new pictures of this boring stuff. Deburred and primed the first seat components and prepped for final paint. Remade the top braces. Needed to round of the vertex of the top seat braces to fit into the top of the seat back properly. If I just tried to use the old pieces after rounding the rivet holes would not of lined up. So I bit the bullet and cut 2 more pieces. I used a scrap piece to see if the change in the alignment would cause edge difference and it was fine. Glad I deceided to redo it since it fits much better. I need to order some extra T6 angle anyway for extra braces and such.

Completed the rest of the hinges and backdrilled the holes. Other seat components are now ready to prime also and first seat is ready to final paint. I am using the dark bronze hammertone finish. The test pieces came out great. Hopefully I can get these things painted before I go to the air races. That way they can dry really good while I am gone.
