More Panel Drilling.... - 2.0 hrs

Well I finally was able to complete the holes in the panel tonight. I had borrowed a fly-cutter from Jim K a few weeks ago and then I found the one I bought from Sears in my tool box at home. I had been using that one on the first hole. Tonight decided to try his to see if it would make a difference. WOW I did finish the first hole and then did the other 3 in half the time it took to do the first one.

I forgot to bring any of the instruments from home to check the size. It looks like it will be tight but I can use a drum sander to make them fit. I will take them home and work on that tomorrow.

Also I received my Spruce order today of the locking rings to install the round instruments. Getting close to time to install the front fuse again and rivet in place to get the panel installed to start running the wiring. I really want to get this thing on the gear but everyone tells me to get all of the wiring done before I remove it from the stand. Or my back will hate me.

I had to throw in another sunset at the hangar. Just about anyday at the hangar is a good day. Not much flying because rain is in the area. Notice how much the sun has moved south since the one I posted last month. Back then the sun was just behind the tree to the left of the windsock.
