Baggage Bulkhead.... - 5.0 hrs

Today I wanted to complete the baggage bulkhead. Started with clecoing the bottom piece in place at the bottom nutplates. Then I drilled each hole with a #30 bit for a pilot hole. Then I enlarge each one to #19 for the size of the screws.

Next I cut the top piece per the plans with a 8 1/2 radius on the top corners. I used snips and then cleaned up the edges on the grinder. Next I marked each screw hole and drilled each hole to #19. I clecoed this in place and removed. Next I drilled the cable hole for the seatbelt cable. I marked the delrin blocks and drilled. Then I drilled the blocks to the bulkheads and popriveted in place.

Last I primed these and clecoed in place one last time. Tomorrow I will install the nutplates to the 706 bulkhead and this will be complete.
