Baggage area parts & Leftside Canopy Decks.... - 7.0 hrs

Started out today finishing up the gear weldments. I still had 2 bolts on the bottom next to the 4 spar bolts. There was more than a 16th clearance so the plans say to make a shim washer to fill this gap or bend the weldment. Well that ain't gonna happen so time to make some shims. I got this finished and all bolts tight.

Next was time to finish the rightside canopy decks. Same as yesterday this went a bit faster today.

Now it was time to install the baggage floors for good. These came out sharp as they are already painted so it looks nice once I pop riveted them in place. I only got the left side done so I went ahead and installed the rear seat pan and just to check it out I also installed the forward covers. Just for grins I put the seats in and took some pics. Looking good. Move on to the other side tomorrow night.
