More Misc.... - 2.0 hrs

Tonight I needed to get firewall recess ready to rivet in place for good. This will need to be sealed as well so you don't get the carbon monoxide pumped in the cabin.

One of my airport buds Dru has some bins of bolts and misc parts so I emailed him to find out if he had any extra nut plates. I need 2 for the recess area to hold 2 bolts that attach clamps to hold the oil pressure line. Turns out he had them. They are the good ones that are sealed for pressurized installations. We were having a cold front passing thru so it was a turd floater outside. The airport looks like a lake now. I had to keep the hangar doors shut but at least it was not hot.

After installing the nutplates I temp bolted the oil line in place. Next I cut some 3/4 inch sound proofing foam and installed it under the brake lines. This will keep it from rattleing against the floor area. I slide the fuel pump in place. Now I need to make up 2 more fuel lines and this will be ready to close up.
