Fuselage May 2007 Updates May 13, 2007 More Riveting - 4 hr One more rear skin left to rivet. Started by just clecoing the forward doubler and the center rib and the left and right J-channel. I bucked every other rivet and then removed the clecos and finished all 3 rows. Then worked my way down both sides of the bulkhead ribs. Rick came over and helped me buck the rest of the rivets. Again if it were not for the rotating stand this would be very difficult. Last I added the Experimental Sticker to the top baggage area cover. Last I riveted the left 6111 stiffener. Started getting late so I stopped before the neighbors came a screamin! Before I called it a night I installed the ELT remote panel per Dan C's recommendation. He mounted his in the baggage area door and I asked him if he was doing it again would he do it the same way. He said the only thing he would change is by putting it in the edge itself so as not to have to unplug it each time you remove the covers.
