Fuselage March 2006 Updates March 29, 2006 More Drilling - 1 hrs I noticed I only drilled #40 holes in the front seven holes on the longeron line. So I removed the firewall and drilled to #30. I reinstalled the firewall and drilled the 2 corner holes in the bottom skin in the second rivet line. The instructions say this sets the distance to the 704 bulkhead. Next I clamped the steel firewall corners to the longerons. Looks like everything is ready to drill the sideskins to the firewall sides and steel corners. I am going to leave the clamps overnight and recheck everything before drilling. This website was built to document my work in compliance with the FAA requirements needed to certify my aircraft.
