Bending the Rightside Corner - 2 hrs

Tonight I wanted to drill the armrests and at least bend one of the corners on the sideskins. I drilled both armrests and removed them. First I removed the rightside skin. Next I drilled the the hole for the step.

Now it was time to bend the corner bend. Of course Dan's site shows this in great detail. I started by cutting some 3/4 inch angle and match drilled it using the holes along that line in the bottom of the right sideskin. I clecoed this in place and clamped it to the bench with a piece of 1 inch angle to bend against. Next I used a cresent wrench to apply leverage upward and created a sharp angle at the point and a slight bend on the wide side.

Well I got one done so I will do the other side tomorrow night. Goal is to get this whole section ready to rivet by Sunday.
