Parking Break Install.... - 5.0 hrs

Still need to come up with an idea to hold the parking break cable in place. First thing is to figure out the lever position of open and close on the valve. Jon came over while I was working on this. Today is our monthly RV builders meeting and it just happens to be at Carl's this month.

Anyway Jon came up with a good idea for a little bracket to hold an adel clamp to the top of the firewall angle. He fabbed that up while I was glueing more strips to the back of the elevator tips.

We took a break to run over to Carl's. Only 2 guys showed up for the lunch and chat. I know there are more builders than this. Also once guys get their birds in the air they stop coming. That sux cause they are big motivators. Anyway after lunch we went back to the hangar and Phil grabbed the squeezer and riveted the bracket in place and we hooked up the cable. Done.

After Phil left Jon and I got this wild hair to put the fuse on the gear and get ready for the engine mount. Well that is where everything stopped. I had to hunt down some special bolts that were no where to be found. It was getting quittin time so I decided I would come back in the morning and do another clean up session and see if I could find the bolts.
