Trying to decide if its time to hang the engine or start on the canopy. It is already getting warmer so I guess I could start that next.

So to get something done tonight I cut some thin strips to glue on the inside edges of the elevator tips to backup the fiberglass so the rivets will not pull thru. Next I wired up the co-pilot PTT switch and slid it on the stick.

Now that the wiring is done I need to finish up the last details so that I can put the top forward skin on so if I decide to start the canopy I can cleco it in place. One of the last things is to run the parking brake cable but I will need to fabricate some kind of bracket.

Well I need to think on that one so I decided to fix something I did wrong with the baggage area cover. I just drilled a hole thru the panel which if I ever needed to remove it I was going to have to unbolt the canopy slide rail. So I unbolted it to remove the panel and made a cut out around the bolt head. Bolted it back in place and reinstalled. Don't know how I missed that on the plans. I caught it looking at someone elsed plane.
