Fuselage March 2006 Updates March 11, 2006 Wing Tip LED Lights - 3 hrs Went to Austin this weekend for a bowling tournament for Derek. Can't go to Austin without stopping in to see my buddy Jeff. I deceided to go with Jeff's LED wingtip lights Jeff's LED Project. When I was at Oshkosh last year I saw different versions of these. These by far are the nicest I have seen. Plus Jeff is a super guy. He let me work on my tips in his shop after taking me by to meet Jim Andrew. I wish I had taken my camera over to Jim's. What a super nice panel he is building. Jeff hooked up the set in his tips and let me check them out in the driveway. I actually think I could land with these they are so bright. Anyway I got my lense covers cut to the correct size. I should get the LED position lights from Jeff delivered this week and I can get them installed and buttoned up and complete the lens installation. This website was built to document my work in compliance with the FAA requirements needed to certify my aircraft.
