Riveting the Firewall

Started on riveting the firwall flush rivets. I had a few of them not come out flush. I was back riveting and all I can figure is I did not keep the backplate tight enough and some of them did not come out as flush as I would like. I drilled them out and redid.

3 of the holes on the top angle brace came out a bit larger hole after I drilled them out. I mixed up some JB Weld and filled in the holes. After it cures I will drill out to #30 again and re-rivet.

I have seen alot of posts on the RV Forums with others fixing things this way. Since it is just a stiffener it should not be a problem at all.

If it becomes a problem I am just going to blame it on Harley Dave.
