Fuselage June 2006 Updates June 20, 2006 Reassembly of Fuse..... - 3.0 hrs Got lots of pics today since I made so much progress. Added arm rest and baggage area ribs for the right side. Drilled deburred and riveted the static ports in place per the plans. 2 inches up from the longeron rivet line and 11/16 forward of the 708 bulkhead. Riveted the 686 gussets to the firewall and clecoed in place to the fuse. Added the other longerons and other stiffeners in the forward fuse section. Before I add the forward floor skin I am going to try to rivet the floor stiffeners in place like Dan C did on his. If this works it will eliminate interference with the floor skin. Then it should just drop in place. Also riveted the 7101's to the 902's ribs before installing. Just realized I forgot to add the VA146 to the firewall. Need to see if I can do it in place or have to remove the firewall again. Damn Beer! This website was built to document my work in compliance with the FAA requirements needed to certify my aircraft.
