More Priming and Reassembly..... - 4.0 hrs

Primed both longerons. Time to put this thing back together. I let the primer dry in between rain storms. Then the sun came out and it is nice and steamy.

Dad was in town for fathers day so he helped me set the center section back in position to tie it back in to the aft section. First I had to shoot 2 rivets next to the outboard ribs of the 705 bulkhead. Next I put the bottom seat sections in place for strength but I left out the baggage area to make it easier to slide the bottom skins in place at the 706 intersection.

We flipped it over and slide into place using a 3/32 punch for alignment as I held the baggage rib tabs out of the way for the ribs and skin to slip into place overlapping the aft skin per the plans. Once we got it started it was pretty smooth except for the rolled corner. We had to start at the bottom clecoing from the longeron edge working up and then using a screwdriver to raise the bottom skin off of the corner ribs to let the side skin to slide into place. Too hot so we stopped for today. Hopefully I can get everyting else into place this week.
