Brake Lines.... - 3.0 hrs


Ok started out with the parking brake. I used Dave Abrahams idea on the position of the parking brake. Basically centered it over the fittings below on the firewall. This puts it straight into the lower fittings on the pilot side and straight down to the lower fittings. From there they go over to the center section and back to the 704 bulkhead and down to the gear fittings.

The pictures show the process. Drill debur dimple..... you know the drill. Once installed I ran the hoses and then mounted a adel clamp in the center bearing position to hold the longer cross over cables. Next I mounted and adel clamp with a smaller one to hold the brake lines centered over the master cylinders. Actually the longer crossovers are a few inches short. I am going to see how this works if they need to be longer I will replace the 2.
