Deburring & Dimpling..... - 3.0 hrs


Deplastification time. That is the technical term for removing the blue plastic from the fuselage sideskins. I received these with the fuse kit last January so after over a year and a half this stuff is pretty stuck. Just take your time and it comes off clean though.

Once the plastic is removed deburring bit in the Sears angle drill that Harley Dave gave me last Christmas and the deburring process goes pretty smooth. I am using the pneumatic squeezer for all of the edges and the DRDT-2 makes quick work with perfect dimples. Quiet also.

Got one side done and time to move on to the next. Also the fuel valve handle I ordered from Cleaveland Tools came in finally. Now I can make my valve not look like the cheap Van's one. Check that out. Almost looks Andair eh.
