Fuselage July 2006 Updates July 31, 2006 Gussets & Forward Canopy Decks & Step.... - 3.0 hrs Riveted the F687 gussets. Primed the forward canopy decks and recloecoed back in place. Riveted 709 bulkhead to the aft deck. Removed the forward top skin and installed the rear topskin and clecoed in place. Next I drilled the gussets to the 706 bulkhead. Last I started fitting the left stepup. I used a carbide bit to enlarge the hole to allow for the weld on the backside of the step flange. I drew some lines to match up the rivet lines with baggage bulkhead. This website was built to document my work in compliance with the FAA requirements needed to certify my aircraft.
