Aft Deck & Rudder Cable Fairings.... - 5.0 hrs

Removed the aft deck and removed the plastic. Deburred and edge prepped the aft deck. Riveted in place and checked one last time for level. Dead nuts on!

Shapped the rudder fairings on the grider. Installed the screw and adel clamp to hold the plastic tubing for the rudder cable in place. Drilled 6 holes to hold the rudder fairings in place over the plastic tubing. I noticed the bottom row was going to be blocked out for bucking by the jstinger so I opted for pop rivets since this was nothing structural. Primed the fairings and pop riveted in place.

Last I primed the F657 gussets and clecoed back in place. I riveted the 4 #6 rivets on each side. The rest are #8 so I will do those tomorrow after I readjust the squeezer.

O.... Did I say it was freakin HOT today!
