More Emp..Fuel Lines... - 4.0 hrs

Today I decided to work on things that need to be done before this thing comes off the rotating stand. First I used the tip Jim K gave me for the fuel line grommets. They just don't make one the proper outside diameter that will fit the flex fuel line. I bought a copper union and ran a unibit inside one end just enough to created a sharp edge to use it as a punch. Next I centered it over the smaller hole in the middle and tightened it up in the vise. Worked like a champ. Installed and slide the line thru. Tomorrow I will install the AN fitting and install the other line.

Next I needed to fab up the brackets that hole the side panel where the air vents connect. Good thing I ordered enough of the .032 angle as I ened up making them twice. You sure get faster the 2nd and 3rd time doing stuff. :)

Then it was time remove the elevators one last time hopefully and finish drilling out the bushing holes I drilled the pilot holes for the other day. I couldn't locate the proper bolt so I used this shorter one to check for squarness. Worked great.
