No building just flying.... - 0.0 hrs

No building this weekend. Derek had a state bowling tournament in Huntsville and Conroe both days.

Saturday morning we had our monthly get together with the CULT!.... Jon called me and said lets go flying early and head to Navasota. Then after a couple of touch n goes he says.... hey you want to do a few. Again how long do you think it took me to say Uh.... ok.

These were my first RV landings. He has let me do some take offs in the past but no landings. Jon is truly a brave guy to let someone else land something he has spent several years building. What a guy eh. I think he needs to get his instructor rating now. Thanks again Jon for a great day of flying.

After that we headed over to West Houston to meet the rest of the Houston RVers for lunch at Clay's. When we landed I saw this fantastic RV8 on the ground in front of the terminal. Turned out to be Paul Dye's freshly painted plane from GLO Custom. This is the 3rd or 4th plane I have seen from there and they have all been awesome. You can tell Paul is really proud of this baby.
