Fuselage January 2006 Updates January 16, 2006 Odyssey PC680 Battery Box - 4 hrs Since I am going with the Odyssey battery I ordered this option from Vans. Also trying to get as much done with stuff that mounts on the firewall if not installed at least predrilled and ready to mount. First I fabbed up the top bracket and firewall doubler. First I measured everything up and marked it and then on to the drillpress. I drilled the holes and polished evething up with the diegrinder. Next I drilled and deburred the battery box and mounted the platenuts on the side brackets. Last I riveted the side brackets onto the box and bolted the battery in place. Its ready to mount to the firewall. This website was built to document my work in compliance with the FAA requirements needed to certify my aircraft.
