More wiring.... - 4.0 hrs

Today I started trying to figure out what a good path for the main power run to the EXPBus. You also need to run a wire the same size for the alternator. The EXPbus is the main bus and fuses all in one. I ran 2 #8 wires and then once the path across the subpanel was lined out I started mounting adel clamps to hold these wires nice and tight to minimze any vibrations.

Next I added a 50 amp breaker in the panel for the alternator wire. I had to splice the alterntor wire to insert the fuse. I soldered the the terminal ends to connect to the fuse.

Last I mounted the amp shunt. Then Jon B stopped by and got me thinking I may have this in the wrong place. I checked with Dave P and he said you can do in either place. This agrees with what Jon was telling me so I just need to figure out what exactly I want to be concerned with. Not sure if I want something else out on the firewall.
