Started Construction of Firewall

Fabricated the F-601-J's from stock angle. Cut them to length. Cut to spec measurments and then used file and scotch wheel to clean up the edges.

Moved on to firewall. It's made of Stainless steel. Clecoed stiffeners, gussets, and engine mounts to firewall. Ready to start the drilling. The instructions say to use lots of Biolube to keep from dulling the drill bits. Luckily most of the holes are predrilled and you only have to final the size.

Time to pump up compressor and get to drilling.....
