Wheels.... - 1 hrs

I need to be building but Jon wants to go flying so who am I to say NO. Anyway he moved the plane before I got to the hangar so we decided to do it on Sunday instead. Doug Reeves from Dallas and a few others are going to me some of us from the Houston area at Hilltop Lakes for breakfast. So to start something simple that I could knock out quickly I figured I would start on the main wheels.

First you have to split the wheels by removing 3 bolts. This makes it easy to add the tubes and tires. With the wheels split I removed the valve core on the tube to allow easy install in the tire. I installed the tube and added the wheel hubs in place. Next I partially inflated the tube a few times and deflated to get the tube in place before fully tightening the bolts. The camera battery died before I could get the last picture of the completed wheel. Inflated to 30 lbs and will store this way until I add it to the gear when installed.
