Fuselage December 2005 Updates December 31, 2005 Fuel Pump Doubler - 3.0 hrs Since I have deceided on which engine now I am going back and adding the fuel pump doubler in the lower section of the firewall. The plans gives you all the measurements to fab this piece. First I measured everything out and drilled the holes and then cut it out to size on the band saw. The new blade I bought from McMaster Carr thanks to Alan Wallace works much better than the ones that came with it. Next I went over the aft section again and removed a few more rivets that were still not perfect. I tried some again but I really need a helper to get these right. This website was built to document my work in compliance with the FAA requirements needed to certify my aircraft.
