Throttle Quad.... - 3.0 hrs

Out to the hangar to work on the throttle quad some more to find a 9A sitting on the #1 rental pad. What up with that. I bet he stopped in for some BBQ at Carl's. Snapped a picture and then was planning on catching the owner before he left but I missed him. Nice looking 9 with a cool center console for the throttle, prop and mixture and misc switches. I have not seen that design yet. Turns out to be built by Gene McKay in Magnolia just up the road. I hope to run into him sometime.

Anway I Fabbed up the bottom bracket and drilled the cable holes staggered. Figured I would paint it black like the panel except without the wrinkle finish. Grabbed a can of primer and black and headed for the house to paint it.

I shot the paint while watching the Patriots kick some butt on the Giants. Giants played a great game but the Pats are just totally on this year. I hope they go all the way since they are this close.

These parts are ready to go back together and see how the cables install.
