Fuselage December 2007 Updates December 12, 2007 More wiring.... - 2.0 hrs Another nite of wiring. Had to leave the door to the hangar closed to keep it warm. The XM radio really helps though on the Big Tracks station. Started tonight with hooking the battery up to the EXP bus directly and then running the TruTrak circuit. Flipped on the master and then the avionics master. No smoke! Its a good start. Next I ran the orange dimmer wire to the new termainal strip. Ran the wire from the EXP bus to the other side and dang if that didn't work as well. I tested the dimmer switch on the anuciator panel and it dimmed and brightened as well. Next I ran the rest of the other wires, Tail Nav light, Flaps. I am going to run the rest of the wires from the EXP bus to the terminal panel and then tie up the bundle then unplug them all so I can remove the panel. Then I will install the throttle quadrant so I can reinstall the panel permantly. I have another wire order into Stien so this will allow me to continue until that shows up.
