Fuselage August 2006 Updates August 28, 2006 Right Gear Weldment.... - 2.0 hrs More work on the right gear weldment. This one fit better once the floor stiffener was cut for clearance. After installing bolts I realized you are supposed to install the main gear and match drill the hole with a hole in the main gear before installing the weldments. Starting drilling and the bit started binding. Called my buddy Jeff and he said I need to use a reamer. I wondered what those things are for :) This website was built to document my work in compliance with the FAA requirements needed to certify my aircraft.
