Fuselage August 2005 Updates August 28, 2005 Aft Fuselage..... - 4.0 hrs Well I needed a break from riveting until I can get some help so I deceided to move onto something else that would take some fabrication. Seemed like the seats would be a good point as there are lots of peices to fab and I figure I need to get the hinges laid out on the seat pans as well. Cleaned up the shop a bit. Metal shavings everywhere. Nothing a little vaccuming can take care of. First I marked up the seat braces where the lighting holes get drilled. Also marked up the sides on what parts needed to be trimmed off. Drilled the holes with a hole saw on the drill press. Next trimmed the sides with tin snips. Cleaned up everything with the scotchbrite wheel and disk. This website was built to document my work in compliance with the FAA requirements needed to certify my aircraft.
