Avionics Trays.... - 4.0 hrs

This panel work is taking more time than you would think. The more I look at it I can see where wiring is going to become an issue. Since I am going with the EXP 2 Bus the power distribution is taken care of with the integrated switches and breakers. I have seen a few planes with this and it looks really nice.

I am going to use buss stips to bring the different power runs into a cental place. Then run from the buss stip to the EXP 2 Buss. Today I matched up the AF-3500 to see where the possible areas to run the buss strips are. WIth the trays so close to the subpanel it is going to make it tight for the wireing harnesses.

Tomorrow I will bring those down and check and mark some additional holes in the subpanel.

I screwed down the right side canopy rail. Then I test fit the oil and fuel pressure sensors into the manifold. I am trying to figure out all of the issues with the forward substructure so that when I take it out this last time I get evertything done so it can be the last time. Once it goes back in place this time it will be to rivet in place and I need to make sure I don't need to get back inside the front of the fuse anymore.
