Interior Paint and Misc - 5 hrs

Finished the interior paint. Primed and painted the inside rear cabin skin so when riveted in place it will be completed. Might still have to touch up the shop heads. Also primed and painted the baggage area stiffeners. While I was waiting for the paint to dry to remove the masking and paper I was checking out the aft section while it was still open. I decided to add a Dan Checkway mod to prevent oil canning on the bottom skins. I cut 3 sections of left over Jchannel and drilled some holes in them to allow RTV to seep up thru to hold the channels in place. Also installed the rear push tube for the elevator.

Drilled out the fuel line brackets for larger bushing to allow flex fuel lines. I got one side done and tried the fuel lines out. Looks good. Also been wanting to try out the new tungston bucking bar. Wow... now I know why everyone wants these now. These things work great. I think I can almost get the back skin done by myself. It is so heavy for being so small that you can get it in really tight spaces and hold it in place without being able to see.
