Interior Paint Prep - 3 hrs

Today I preped the interior for paint. I have seend guys do this as I go but I sure dont see how. I started out that way in the early stages but even the few things I did like the baggage area panels and the 705 bulkhead just behind the seats got scratched up during the building process. Most of the things that get screwed in later are ok. I am not painting the floor in the front since I bought the nice carpet from Classic Aero Designs. Also I am only painting the firewall about half way up.

The masking is a slow process. I started with an edge along the top edge following the longerons and then added newspaper below the line. This should allow me to spray the canopy decks without geting over spray on the sides. But then who cares because it looks like crap anyway. After my 40 hours flyoff this thing is going to get a professional paint job on the outside for sure.
