Replaced Resistor for LED NAV Lights and Marker Beacon Antena..... - 4.0 hrs

Today I repeated the process on the right wingtip. As usual this side went faster. Then it was time to mount the antenna for the marker beacon. I actually made the antenna along time ago so I don't remember how long it is but its just a piece of coax with a certatin length of the sheath peeled off.

I laid it in the bottom of the tip and used duck tape to hold in place. I took it home to mix up some fiberglass to hold it in place. Next I installed a female BnC connector on the wing side. Once the fiberglass sets up I will mount the male side to the tip end.

When I got home I cut 8 pieces of glass and wet it down with epoxy. I laid these pieces in the gaps between the duck tape. Once it setup I removed the duck tape. Now this tip is ready to go back on.
