Real First Flight is Here...... - 1.0 hrs

Well today was a long day again. Exactly 1 month and a day and I had the real first flight..... well it was my real first flight!

This weekend I went up to Dallas and did my transistion training with Alex De Dominics. What a pro and gentleman. If you are building an RV I highly recommend Alex. He is very easy going and has a unique way of describing things about the airplane and the process of flying that really helps you learn the process of flyin an RV.

It was just me and Kim and Jim today. John said he was running late since Michelle was cooking.... sounds like that is rare in the household or something... just kidding.

Again Engine is new so had to run it hard towards breakin again but the temps are coming down nicely now. It was under 400 after climb out and all cylinders are very even. Overall it was a good flight and lasted around 35 to 40 minutes. Had to cut it short of the hour due to darkness.

Now I just have to keep going up and getting some practice and getting seat time to get the little things down with the plane that are unique such as the constant speed prop and all the things the EFIS can do.

YOOOOOHOOOOO!

This website was built to document my work in compliance with the FAA requirements needed to certify my aircraft.
My experiences and comments are by no means to be considered as instructions on how to build any aircraft.
