More Fuel Pump Work..... - 5.0 hrs

Man this little tedius stuff is going to be the death of me. I messed wanted to try the fit of the front carpet so I installed the tunnel cover. That didn't fit because after I installed the breaklines and wiring it was catching on the left edge. So I marked it and trimmed it to fit.

Next I had to cut a slot for the throttle cable. This worked out great. I installed a grommet. Had to cut it to go over the cable but after I slide it in the slot, it worked out perfect.

This took alot longer than expected trying to get under and then you cant get both arms under when you need leverage. I see how multi builders build speed. You learn what to do when and get things done when its all open.

Anyway in the first picture you can see the trimming I had to do on the tunnel cover. ALso the black marks on the lower tubing is where the front of the pump cover comes down. SO that piece of tubing needs to be redone. No how the hell am I going to bend a radius that tight???? HUH!

Anyway I will give that a try tomorrow.... so to finish the day I dropped in the cover with no pump in place and layed the trim covers and installed the carpet. Looking very nice... I just wish the pump was underthere and hooked up.
