Back in the Nest!..... - 8.0 hrs

Back at the hangar at 9:30am. I started sectioning off the stuff I need to work on next as Kim was coming up to help clean the hangar before we bring it back home today. She brought wrags and cleaning stuff and was after it in no time.

I went back and worked on the bottom bolt that Jim stuggled with last night. I got wore out on that after a while and moved on to the left side to make sure I could get the top bolts in to make sure I could move the plane by the end of the day. In between breaks I would go check on Kim's progress and to move things out of the way. She got the entire right side cleaned up and all the part trays lined up along the wall nice and neat. Then I got back to the bolt business.

I got the top bolts on the left fairly quick. Then I went back to the BITCH bolt on the right again. A few turns and some taps with the hammer then more turns. Jon stopped by for a bit and we hooked up a jack handle to the wratchet handle to give more leverage. Worked better but very slow going.

Then after 7 hours of this here comes Kim and says bring it on over. Kerby helped me move back down and we eased it in. I was really sweating on the wings fitting but it turned out great.

Even got plenty of room to work on the tips as well. Now the count down starts to first engine start!!!! Happy Halloween!
