Wing Lights, Flaps and Right Aileron Install..... - 6.0 hrs

Took advantage of the extra hour this morning and got to the hangar early. Beautiful day, perfect for flying. But I am still building for now.

Started out installing adel clamps in the last rib of the wing. One to hold the power runs for the taxi light and left nav light (the red one). One more clamp for the strobes. This should hold everything and keep it from banging around in the tip. After that I hooked up the tips and checked for taxi light, and landing. Checked wig wag. Checked Nav on both sides. Everything checked out perfect.

Next I installed the flap rod left side. Kerby was there to help so he held it in place while I installed the rod. Then I used the motor to cycle thru and see how much I needed to enlarge the hole for clearance. I am using the hex rods as replacments for the small round ones. I picked these up from Avery tools. Already cut to length and tapped.

Next I installed the flap on the right side. And the aileron. And then of course I had to hang the cool sign my son gave me for my birthday.
