More Windscreen Work...... - 5.0 hrs

No work yesterday so needed to get back to the working on the plane.

Today I started on installing 2 more clips on the windscreen to hold the sides tighter. There was too big of a gap and it would of taken alot of epoxy mix to fill the crack and would proably looked crappy from the inside. The next goal will be to mix up some epoxy with micro and cabosil and lay a nice bead around the bottom edge of the windscreen and then start the fiberglass tape process.

I then went to the rear canopy where I left off last time and tapped the right side like I did last week on the left. I drilled all the holes thru the rear canopy bow and tapped and installed screws on every other hole. Now it is held tight. I test fit the fiberglass piece and it looks like it will work out good.

I also laid down the 2 aluminum fairings and it looks like I can try it as well. We shall see.

Once that was done Harley Dave stopped by and we installed a new headlamp socket on his truck. The bulb burned it up so we used the crimp tool to install the new socket and he was back in business. Then he reached in the back of his truck and pulled out a walker for his grand daughter Audrey. We put that bad boy together in the middle of the hangar. Started out a little dicey but in the end after about 4 beers we were able to complete the project!!!!
