Finish Kit Update May 2012 Updates May 06, 2012 More Wheelpant Fairing Work...... - 3.0 hrs This weekend I brought the fiberglass stuff and the wheelpants to the house. I roughed up the surface where the fairings meet the pants. Mixed up some micro, cabosil and clamped everything in place. I let that dry overnight and then mixed up another batch and slathered it all over the seam. Let that setup all day and then used a scotchbrite medium pad on the diegrinder and then buffed it all down smoothing it all in making a nice seam. This website was built to document my work in compliance with the FAA requirements needed to certify my aircraft.
