Finish Kit Update March 2011 Updates March 06, 2011 EFII Fuel Pump Enclosure ..... - 4.0 hrs Today I took everything apart one last time on the base. Cleaned up all the markings and riveted the stiffeners in place. Next I installed the nutplates in the base to allow the enclosure to be screwed in place. Riveted a stiffener to the cable pass thru. Then it was time for paint. First I primed it and then the brown hammerfinish to match the interior. Then it was time to dry in the sun a few hours. As you can see the center channel enclosure is actually 2 pieces. I used the original piece cut down to provide a piece to screw to the valve box area. This will allow for easy access to change the filter at annual. This website was built to document my work in compliance with the FAA requirements needed to certify my aircraft.
