More Windscreen Work...... - 5.0 hrs

OK got to the hangar and pulled the peel ply and looking good. Started the fun part. Sanding. NOT! Got the high spots down and things all roughed up and cleaned up. Then it was time to mix up some filler.

Used epoxy with glass beads to thicken things up and then added cabosil since some of it was going on the sides to minimize the runs. Things start setting up fast in this heat so it took a bunch of small patches. Then I took a break to go cool off and let this setup.

O and before the break I added some spot backing on the screw areas of the rear fairing to make sure the would not pull thru. Let that sat as well.

Came back later and put in some more time.... you guessed it. Sanding. Also redrilled the holes in the rear fairing and reinstalled. I think this just may work.
