More Windscreen Work...... - 5.0 hrs

Ok again more of the same on the windscreen. Sanding, sanding and more sanding. Then more filling.

Then back to the rear fairing. I used a diegrinder with medium scotchbrite disk. When smoothing out to prepare for filling. The glass appeared to not adhear very well due to not taking gelcoat down enough and maybe not a rough enough finish.

Took it all off to redo but this time used 80 grit sandpaper to make sure the texture was there. Also I made sure I wetout the cloth thick and no peel ply. This left a think shiney surface that I could rough up with 80 grit again.

Next I used super fil and the goal was to take out the ridge lines for the track. We shall see!
