EFII Fuel Pump Enclosure ..... - 4.0 hrs

Arrived at the hangar to start on the enclosure. First I laid out the center piece and the newly cut carpet and snapped a pic. Next I started out thinking I was going to mount the angle on the outside corners but it made more send to put them on the inside so I cut the top corner pieces in length and used the rivet fan to layout the line of rivets. I drilled on the drill press with the fan in place clecoing as I went.

Next I drilled and clecoed the angle to the side pieces and cut some smaller pieces to hold them to the center floor piece. I'm using the lightweight angle to keep the weight down.

Next I repeated the process on the other side and then clecoed the entire piece together to check the fit. Now I just need to decide how to rivet. No reason to go with flush rivets since this is an enterior piece. Have to see if I have any #40 round head rivets first. Once this is together I can paint and install!
