Finish Kit Update February 2012 Updates February 18, 2012 Too cold for canopy...... - 3.0 hrs No work on the plane last week. Derek had a Lacrosse Tournament in Aggieland. Would of been way to cold anyway. Froze my butt off!! Still too cold for canopy work this weekend as well. Plus with all the rain everything is wet and cold. I thought we were in a drought. Decided I would work on the gear fairings to wheel pants step as I can take fiberglass work to the house to work on. Refit the lower fairings to make some final cuts. I decided to use the Fairings Etc ones and make them where they split at the wheel pant seam. This took some clecoing and triming to work. After several install and removals I got them to fit nice. Once I get them glued in place with epoxy I will lay up and overlay on the but joint to keep things tight. This website was built to document my work in compliance with the FAA requirements needed to certify my aircraft.
