Right Wing Bolts ..... - 2.0 hrs

I finally found a post on VAF that describes the wing bolt process. The title of the post says it all. "my worst building day" Well, yesterday I managed to install a grand total of four bolts on my -7A. It took me all day, allowing for a couple of breaks. Blood was spilled in the process, I ache all over today, and I have bruises all over my arms.

This describes exactly what I have been going thru since starting this process. And then of course Dan posts this for the poor guy.... "My considered advice is to drink lots of beer while you do the job. It will still get sore and bloody, but you won't care as much". HA! Well I have been doing plenty of that for sure.

Anyway I ordered these cool new stainless steel tiedown rings from Cleaveland Aircraft Tools. They look like jewelry they are so precisely made. Anyway I went to the hangar to install and test out. Also these things fit the jack extensions from Bogart Avaition. They fit like they were made for them.

Next I went back to the wingbolts. I finally got the wrench to fit and got the hard bolt in. Maybe I will get these done someday.
