Finish Kit Update December 2010 Updates December 19, 2010 Right Wing Bolts ..... - 2.0 hrs Still have 2 more bolts on the bottom right to install. The first bolt on the bottom comes out right at where the gear weldment exits the bottom of the fuselage. No room for a wrench. I tried several things to no avail. Decided to take a 5/8 open end wrench to the grinder to make one to fit. Tried several variations. Finally got one to work for a while but then it slipped off. After several hours of being bent over I had to give up for today. At least I am making positive progess now. I can't figure out why no one discusses this on VAF. This website was built to document my work in compliance with the FAA requirements needed to certify my aircraft. My experiences and comments are by no means to be considered as instructions on how to build any aircraft.
