Left Wing Root Fairing ..... - 3.0 hrs

Got to the hangar and removed the left wing root fairing. I remembered I had to safety wire the bolt for the tank bracket. I used the big hole in the middle of the bracket to hold the wire.

Next I glued a backing strip to the wing tip with epoxy and left it to dry. While that was drying I moved back to the wing root fairing. I needed to install the nutplates to the wing edge. I was running out of time as I promissed Jim I would head out to Hooks to help him with some rivets.

I headed over to help Jim and then when I returned I installed the nutplates to the top holes. I installed it to show how it would look. I also used the edge bender from Cleaveland Air Tools. Works really good.
