It's Official N754RV is a real plane...... - 7.0 hrs

Got up this morning and it was raining cats and dogs. Was going to go early but it was really coming down. Finally got out there around 10. Took a quick pic of the bad spot from before. It is beautiful now.

The rain finally stopped so I shot a coat of primer on the tip to make it look nice and cover up the new pop rivets holding the elevator tip. While that was drying I installed the wingroot fairings. I noticed some fuel drips coming from the sup drain so I drained the right tank to remove the sump drain to check the o-ring.

About that time up comes the DAR to checkout my reskin job. He looked it over and said it was a nice job. He brought out the paper work and gave me the pink slip!!!! Its now official. After 8 years 3 months and 3 days N754RV is now a real airplane.

I reinstalled the elevator and then stared installing all of the inspection covers. Next I took it outside for a taxi test with a complete interior. The engine fired right up. I cannot wait to fly this thing!!!
