Reskinning the Right Elevator...... - 10.0 hrs

Got to the hangar at 7am and the Commander was parked out front so I had to get a couple of shots. Opened up the hangar and started getting things laid out to get started.

Started drilling out all the perimeter rivets. Once complete I removed the skin and cleaned up the frame. About that time Jim K showed up and he started drilling out the stiffeners from the skin and I started getting the skin ready by final drilling and deburing.

Once that was complete we worked together on dimpling the skin using the DRDT-2. Jim said that was cheating! Jim cleaned out the old proseal from the stiffeners and then it was time to rivet. We backriveted the stiffeners and then the hard part was upon us.

The leading edge curl is the hardest part and took alot of time. Spent alot of time on this but finally got it riveted. Will hang it in the morning for the final.
